{"product_id":"cortina-e-u4","title":"Cortina E-U4","description":"Used We're selling our Cortina electric bike, which has been brilliant for getting around London with the kids. The only reason we're selling is that our youngest has now outgrown the front child seat, so we need to move on to something bigger.\n\n\n\nIt's a proper Dutch-style family bike, with a Bosch Active Line motor and a large 500Wh battery. The electric assistance makes a huge difference when carrying children, particularly when setting off at junctions or going uphill.\n\n\n\nThe bike has a low step-through frame, comfortable upright riding position and swept-back handlebars. It's really easy to ride and has been a very practical alternative to using the car for nursery runs, shopping and getting around locally.\n\n\n\nFeatures include:\n\nBosch Active Line mid-drive motor\nBosch PowerPack 500Wh removable battery\nShimano Nexus hub gears\nShimano roller brakes\nHeavy-duty rear rack (rated to 35kg)\nFront luggage rack\nSturdy double-leg stand, particularly useful when getting children in and out of their seats\nAXA rear wheel lock\nFull mudguards, enclosed chaincase and integrated lights\nComfortable sprung saddle\n\n\nWe've used it with child seats at both the front and rear, as shown in the photos. It's been a great setup for carrying two young children, and the front and rear racks also make it useful for shopping and everyday journeys.\n\n\n\nThe front and rear child seats aren't included in the asking price, but I'm happy to include both for an additional £100.\n\n\n\nThe bike is in good used condition, with some cosmetic marks from normal family use. There are scratches on the rear rack and mudguard, and some splits in the saddle covering, all shown in the photos.\n\n\n\nIt's a really well-built, practical bike with a quality Bosch motor, and has served us very well.
