{"product_id":"hoy-pentland-20-inches-kids","title":"Hoy Pentland 20 inches Kids","description":"Used Sir Chir Hoy Children's Mountain bike 20 inch wheels, excellent condition hardly used.\nThe HOY Bonaly 20-inch is a premium, super-lightweight children’s bike designed in partnership with Olympic cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy. Aimed at kids aged roughly 5–8 years old (inside leg 40–53cm), it prioritizes an incredibly low weight and kid-friendly components to make learning to ride safe and enjoyable.Key Features \u0026amp; SpecificationsFrame \u0026amp; Weight: Built from heat-treated 6061-T6 aluminum, it boasts an impressively low weight (approx. 8.6 kg). This makes the bike easy for a child to maneuver, pick up, or control, and easy for parents to carry.Child-Specific Geometry: The bike features shorter, narrower cranks that place a child's feet closer together. This prevents overstretched legs and lowers the bottom bracket for maximum stability.Gears: Equipped with simple, intuitive Shimano 6 or 7-speed derailleur gears and easy-to-operate thumb shifters, perfect for smaller hands.Braking: Features Tektro mini V-brakes with short-reach levers designed for small fingers, providing reliable stopping power.Tires: Semi-knobbled Kenda Small Block 8 tires (20\" x 1.75\") that roll smoothly on tarmac but offer plenty of grip for off-road park trails and gravel.Design Philosophy: Named after the Pentland Hills near Edinburgh where Sir Chris first rode his mountain bike. The bike is stripped of superfluous parts to keep weight to an absolute minimum and focuses purely on high-quality bearings and durability.For a closer look at the design process and why the focus on lightweight frames is so important for kids:","brand":"26404536713592","offers":[{"title":"Hoy","offer_id":55696206463352,"sku":"7edd3eac-626a-4290-b836-2b5c70b44441","price":215.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0684\/9776\/8734\/files\/photo-66545953931640-region.jpg?v=1791659452","url":"https:\/\/mynextbike.co.uk\/products\/hoy-pentland-20-inches-kids","provider":"MyNextBike","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
