About this bike

Seller Description:

Great, agile and very light bike, super fun. My old sore knees are forcing this sale. RRP £6699. Ridden 2013 to 2016 and then from 2018 to 2023. Well maintained and regularly serviced mountain bike. The last service for the forks, shock, pivots and dropper was in Autumn 2023. Bike has normal scartches, rub, and scuff marks for a bike of this age. It has no dents or cracks.

The frame and 130mm Fox Factory RP23 Float kashima shock are the only original parts, everything else has been replaced or upgraded. In 2018, I upgraded to 27.5" Stans Arch ZTR mk3 wheels with Hope hubs and 27.5" 150mm Fox Factory 34 Float kashima forks. Reason was due to limited choice of 26" wheel replacements. New cable-actuated Brand X dropper and Fabric saddle from Oct to Dec 2023. 11 speed Shimano XT with SRAM GX cranks, GXP BB and DMR pedals. Shimano XT 2-pot disc brakes. Thomson carbon handlebars with Ritchey headset & stem.

I removed the unused cable lug for the removed front mech cable from the seat tube. I sanded and brush patch painted the bare area in matching white paint. Some components are less than 100 miles from new (dropper, saddle, front pads, grips, chain, jockey wheels, cassette, rear rotor, whilst others are in mid-life (like bottom bracket, tyres and rear brake pads). More expensive items, like the bearings and suspension items have no play or signs of wear and have been serviced in Autumn 2023. My rear wheel has been trued once a couple of years ago and both wheels are still running true and in good condition. I can't foresee anything that needs replacing within the next couple of hundred miles, unless you are a serious competition racer where everything must be functioning 100% as new.
