{"product_id":"specialized-s-works-m5","title":"Specialized S-Works M5","description":"Used bike was a project back in ~2002, bought the frame and forks off e-bay and then took it to a bike shop in Bromley to get built with the top of the range (at the time) Shimano XTR kit.\n\nThe Rockshox forks had a lock out facility but this no longer works and there are no longer components to fix it (as confirmed in last service) So, they work but are now permanently in the unlocked position.\n\nGears still work fine and have an unusual mechanism of raising lower the break lever to change gear (one of the push levers came off and cannot be replaced but this is an alternative method, you can still change gears but only via the raise\/lower function)\n\nWhilst it is a light bike clearly mountain bikes have moved on A LONG way since this was top of the range.
