Its speed with electric assist is 15 mph and the advantages over an electric bike is that it has rain protection, with a windscreen wiper, indicators \u0026amp; storage space behind the seat for a bag or shopping up to 70 kg.\nIt has front and rear lights – with an electric horn – all controlled from the handle bar.\nThere are disc brakes to each wheel – hydraulic action.\nThe level of electrical assist can be set from 1 to 5\n( the highest rate) -with a right hand throttle to give a boost, when required at low speeds.\nYou do not need a license to ride a VEEMO or road tax. The VEEMO is easily insured.\nThe seat position is adjustable- locking lever action.\nMy VEEMO was imported from Vancouver, Canada where it was made by ENVO.\nIt had a factory modification of a second battery – this gives a travel distance, with full battery charge, of up to 100miles, subject to terrain.\nAn airline style locking lap strap has been installed\nThe VEEMO comes with- two battery chargers - spare brake pads \/ tubes and other minor parts with manufactures manual.
