Enduro Mountain Bikes

Enduro mountain bikes are built for racing downhill stages while remaining climbable between them. With 150-170mm travel, slack geometry, and descending prowess, they handle the gnarliest trails while still pedalling to the top. All bikes are verified by our mechanics and come with buyer protection. Looking for other styles? Browse all Mountain Bikes.

What is Enduro?

Enduro racing combines the climbing of XC with the descending of downhill. Riders are timed only on downhill stages but must pedal between them. The bikes reflect this: capable enough for race-pace descending yet rideable enough for long transfer stages.

Enduro bike specifications:

  • 150-170mm travel front and rear
  • Slack head angles (63-65??)
  • Long wheelbases for stability
  • Burly frames and components
  • Often 29er or mullet wheel setup
  • Dropper posts essential

Enduro vs Trail vs DH

Enduro bikes sit between trail and DH bikes. They descend better than trail bikes but climb better than DH bikes. If you prioritise descending but still want to pedal everywhere, enduro is your category.

Why Buy Used?

Enduro bikes take a beating but are built tough. A used enduro bike often has years of shredding left, and the original owner may have already dialled in the suspension setup and fitted preferred upgrades.
