Buying a used bike by brand: common questions
Which bike brands can I buy on MyNextBike?
The list on this page covers every brand that has been sold on the marketplace, from mainstream names like Trek, Specialized, Giant and CUBE to smaller builders like Wyndymilla and Pearson. Stock changes daily because each bike is listed by its owner or by a bike shop, so a brand page shows what is available today alongside the bikes that have already sold.
Are the bikes checked before they are listed?
Yes. Our team reviews every listing before it goes live, usually within 24 hours. We check the photos, the description and the asking price, and sellers are asked to declare damage, upgrades and service history. Listings from professional sellers carry a Certified Pre Owned badge.
What does buyer protection cover?
Your payment is held by MyNextBike and is not released to the seller until you have the bike. If it arrives lost, damaged in transit or not as described, we refund what you paid for the bike plus any shipping costs. Report the problem within 48 hours of the bike arriving. Some brands in the list are not links. Why?
Those brands have been sold on the marketplace but do not have a page of their own yet, usually because only a handful of bikes have passed through. Use the search box in the header to check whether one is listed today.
How do I compare frame sizes between brands?
Frame sizing is not consistent between manufacturers: one brand's medium can be another brand's 54cm. Every listing states the size printed on the frame, and our size guide explains how to match that to your height and inside leg measurement.
How is a used bike delivered?
Either you collect the bike in person from the seller, or we arrange insured courier delivery anywhere in the UK. The options and the cost are shown on the listing before you buy. See the delivery page for how bikes are packed and tracked.
Can I return a used bike?
It depends who sold it. If you bought from a private seller, buyer protection applies: tell us within 48 hours of delivery if the bike is damaged or not as described and we refund you. If you bought from a business seller, marked with the Certified Pre Owned badge, you can return the bike within 14 days for a full refund. The returns policy covers both cases.
Can I sell a bike of any brand here?
Yes, including brands that are not on this list. Listing is free and takes about ten minutes, the minimum listing value is £150, and you set the asking price with a suggestion from us. Start on the sell your bike page.
