About this bike

Seller Description:

Bike is in fantastic condition with very few marks. The gear shifts are nice and crisp whilst the brakes are sharp, Smooth bearings all round including the bottom bracket, headset, hub and freehub bearings; Absolutely no cracks whatsoever, New bar tape.

Cycling Plus magazine called it 'a piece of legendary racing equipment'. Weighing in at 6.9kg when built up, this is one impressive bike!On the road, the Scultura Disc offers a compliant ride, especially on challenging terrains like cobbles. Its performance shines on descents, with the disc brakes providing superior control and confidence. In terms of value, the Scultura Disc is competitively priced, offering a balance between performance and cost. This Merida Scultura is a pro-level disc brake road bike. Launched after its non-disc counterpart, which was touted as the 'lightest production bike' globally, the disc version has had to accommodate the added weight of disc brakes and has taken on the challenge gracefully. The frame, designated CF4, is the same spec as the professionals ride. While it may resemble the non-disc Scultura, Merida has entirely re-engineered the carbon layup to handle the unique forces exerted by disc brakes. Notable features include internally routed hydraulic lines and the R.A.T. system for the thru axles. The bike is equipped with SRAM Red AXS with hydraulic disc brakes, DT Swiss Arc 1400 wheels, and Continental GP5000 tyres.
