With its stylish accents and impressive specifications, the Carrera Vulcan-E is your gateway to trail exploration, propelling you effortlessly to the heart of scenic landscapes and challenging terrains.

Electric Capability
Fitted with a Bafang rear hub motor delivering 45Nm of torque and 378Wh battery that's integrated into the aluminium frame offering a streamlined and modern design, the Vulcan-E is a powerful and versatile companion for a variety of cycling adventures.

Effortlessly manage the electric motor using the LCD compact display conveniently positioned on the handlebars, offering crucial information like trip distance and speed. Additionally, it allows you to tailor your ride with the flexibility to choose from four assistance levels based on your preferences.

Better Equipped
Carrera bikes have consistently earned acclaim for their commitment to incorporating top-tier brands. The Carrera Vulcan-E is no exception with its dependable 9-speed Shimano CUES gears at the rear and featuring a single chainring at the front for effortless shifting.

Equipped with Clarks hydraulic disc brakes for reliable and responsive braking in all conditions. The Suntour XCM-DS HLO lockout forks with 120mm of travel provide the perfect set up for comfort, control and adventure.

Extra Comfort
We understand that saddle comfort is key to your overall cycling experience. That’s why the Vulcan-E features a Velo saddle that incorporates memory foam padding, ensuring extended periods of comfort on both roads and trails.

Frequently overlooked, yet crucial as they serve as one of your primary points of contact, we have introduced innovative handlebar grips. Their design facilitates a secure grip, featuring a knurled soft rubber surface that enhances comfort.

Range
All electric bikes specify a maximum mileage range achievable on a single battery charge. This represents the furthest distance under optimal conditions; however, several factors can influence this range:

The combined weight of the rider and any luggage.
The assistance mode selected.
The cycling route (e.g. type of terrain and inclines).
Temperature and climate (e.g. cold weather will decrease the performance of the battery).
Tyre pressure.
Wind speed and direction.

  1. Once an order is placed, we contact the seller to arrange a suitable date for our delivery partner to collect the bike.
  2. The bike will then be delivered to you, typically the same day it's been collected from the seller.
  3. You're ready to ride! Our couriers collect and deliver the bikes without the need for them to be disassembled.

Can I collect in person?

Yes! You can collect the bike from the seller yourself. We ask that you agree on a price first and follow the standard checkout process before arranging the meet-up.

This ensures that all transactions are completed securely on the MyNextBike platform.

Collection process

  1. Agree on a price with the seller
  2. Complete the purchase: You will be sent a payment link to finalise the transaction.
  3. Select "Collect in Person" at checkout
  4. Arrange the collection or viewing date
  5. Confirm whether you leave with the bike
Can I test ride the bike first?

Yes you can! It's the same process as if you are collecting the bike. We ask for buyers to agree a price first and follow the standard checkout process. This ensures that all transactions are completed securely on the MyNextBike platform, allowing us to provide buyer and seller protections.

How does buyer protection work?

Our Buyer Protection policy is in place to prevent any mis-selling on the platform and ensure you get exactly what you paid for! If the bike arrives "not as described", such as there is damage that wasn't disclosed in the listing, or the specifications are wrong, then you can return it to the seller free of charge. Simply contact our support team and we will arrange this for you. To learn more, please read here.

What if the bike doesn't fit me?

Frame size is the one thing photos can't tell you, so check the fit details on this listing against your height, and use the size guide if you're between sizes.

Buyer Protection covers a bike that isn't as described; it doesn't cover a change of mind on sizing. If you're unsure, message the seller for the stack, reach and standover before you buy.

Can I get the bike serviced before it arrives?

Yes. Add MNB Verify & Service at checkout and our mechanics inspect, service and safety-check the bike before it ships: brakes, gears, tyres, drivetrain and frame.

You get a written report of what was checked and anything replaced. It's the closest thing to seeing the bike yourself.

How do I know the specs are accurate?

The technical specifications are the manufacturer's factory list for that model and year, not a record of what's fitted today. Sellers commonly change wheels, saddles and finishing kit.

What the seller has actually changed is in the Upgrades and damage sections, and every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live. If the bike arrives materially different from the listing, that's a Buyer Protection return.
