Description

Riese & Müller Load 75 Electric Cargo Bike

Dual Battery | 1000Wh | Enviolo Hub Gearing | Belt Drive

Three-Child Seating Configuration | Only 1,735 Miles

Overview

For sale is this premium Riese & Müller Load 75 electric cargo bike, a high-specification family cargo bike with a substantial original build value of approximately £8,000.

Having covered just 1,735 miles from new, this bike has relatively low mileage for a cargo bike of this type. It offers a fantastic opportunity for a family looking for a practical alternative to the car, whether for school runs, family outings, shopping or everyday journeys.

This is the sought-after Enviolo version, featuring continuously variable hub gearing and a belt drive for a smooth, comfortable and convenient riding experience. The factory-fitted dual-battery system provides a substantial combined capacity of 1,000Wh.

The bike has just been cleaned, serviced and inspected. The Bosch software has also been updated, and the service report confirms that the system is healthy. We are happy to share the report with anyone interested in purchasing the bike.

Dual-Battery System – 1000Wh

One of the standout features of this Load 75 is its factory-fitted dual-battery configuration, providing a combined nominal capacity of 1,000Wh.

This substantial battery capacity is particularly useful for a cargo bike, where additional passenger and luggage weight can increase energy consumption. It provides the potential for extended journeys between charges compared with a smaller battery setup.

Actual range will depend on factors including the combined weight of the rider and passengers, terrain, weather, assistance mode and riding style.

Enviolo Continuous Gearing & Belt Drive

This is the higher-specification Enviolo-equipped model, offering continuously variable gearing rather than conventional fixed gear steps.

The system allows the rider to adjust the gearing smoothly to suit their preferred pedalling cadence and changing riding conditions. It is particularly well suited to family cargo bikes, where comfortable, easy-to-manage gearing can make everyday journeys more enjoyable.

The belt-drive setup provides a clean and practical alternative to a conventional chain-driven drivetrain, making it an attractive choice for regular family use.

Family-Friendly Cargo Capacity

The Load 75 is designed to make transporting children and everyday essentials more practical. This bike has a configuration with space for up to three children to sit comfortably in the front cargo box.

It is ideal for school runs, trips to the park, family outings and carrying shopping or other everyday items. The factory-fitted rear rack adds further carrying versatility.

Please check the photographs and contact us if you would like further details about the child-seating configuration or any specific accessories included with the bike.

Recent Service & Bosch System Report

The bike has just undergone a clean-down, service and inspection. The following work has been completed:

  • New front brake pads.
  • New rear brake pads.
  • New front brake disc rotor.
  • New rear brake disc rotor.
  • Brakes bled following the brake work.
  • Bosch software updated.
  • Service inspection completed.

The service report confirms that the Bosch system is healthy. We are happy to share the report with prospective buyers so they can review the system information before purchasing.

The front suspension stanchions have also been cleaned. Please see the condition section below for details of the minor surface pitting present.

Condition & Important Information

The bike has covered only 1,735 miles and presents well for a previously owned cargo bike. As expected with a used bike of this size and type, there are some cosmetic imperfections, which we want to describe clearly.

  • Paintwork: There are some small surface chips to the paintwork, along with minor marks and scratches on parts of the frame and cargo box.
  • Front suspension: The stanchions have been cleaned and show a small amount of surface rust and some slight pitting. This does not currently affect the fork's performance, but prospective buyers should be aware of the condition.
  • Enviolo/NuVinci display: Some of the orange indicator line has come away from the display. This is a visual indication of the gear position and does not affect the operation of the gearing system.

These points are reflected in our description so that buyers can make an informed decision. Please study the photographs carefully, and feel free to contact us if you would like additional photos of any particular area.
