This is an exceptionally rare opportunity to own a fantastic example of the S-Works Turbo Creo SL Founder's Edition.
This particular bike is Number 4 of only 250 produced worldwide, making it an incredibly rare and collectable version of Specialized's groundbreaking lightweight electric road bike.
An Extremely Rare Founder's Edition
Only 250 S-Works Turbo Creo SL Founder's Edition bikes were ever produced worldwide, and this particular bike is Number 4 / 250.
This is a genuinely rare opportunity for somebody looking to own one of the earliest and most exclusive examples of the Turbo Creo SL platform.
Originally sold in 2020 for the full retail price of £13,500, this bike was specified with some of the finest components available and remains highly competitive even by today's standards.
Many of the components and technologies fitted to this bike remain available and relevant in the current high-end road and electric bike market.
Condition
The bike is in exceptional overall condition and has clearly been very well cared for throughout its ownership.
The frame was professionally protected with paint protection film (PPF) from new. The PPF has recently been removed, revealing the original paintwork underneath.
The paintwork is in near-perfect condition and presents exceptionally well. There are a couple of very minor marks, as you would expect from a bike that has been ridden, but these do not detract from the overall appearance or condition of the bike.
Overall, the bike presents beautifully and the carbon frame and finish remain in outstanding condition.
Mileage
The bike has covered approximately 2,700 miles, which is very low mileage for a bike of this age and type.
The bike has been maintained correctly throughout its life and has recently received significant maintenance and servicing work to ensure it is ready for its next owner.
Recent Specialist Maintenance
This bike has been professionally maintained and serviced, most recently by the Specialized Concept Store in Harrogate.
The most recent annual e-bike service was completed in April 2026, costing just under £500.
Significant recent maintenance and replacement parts include:
- New cassette fitted this year
- New chain fitted this year
- New chainring fitted this year
- New tubeless tyres fitted this year
- Tyres have covered approximately 300 miles
- New battery fitted by Specialized under warranty last year
The replacement battery was fitted by Specialized after a small crack was identified in the original battery casing during a service inspection.
The bike has therefore received extensive recent maintenance and is mechanically ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
Specialized SL 1.1 Motor
The Turbo Creo SL was designed to offer a completely different approach to electric road riding. Rather than simply adding a powerful motor to a heavy bike, Specialized created an exceptionally lightweight system designed to amplify the rider's natural effort.
The lightweight Specialized SL 1.1 motor provides up to 240 watts of assistance, helping to double your effort while maintaining a natural and responsive riding feel.
The motor is designed to deliver assistance smoothly in line with your pedalling cadence, while also offering virtually no resistance when riding without assistance.
Lightweight FACT 11r Carbon Frame
The Founder's Edition is the lightest model in the Turbo Creo SL range, with a claimed weight of approximately 11.9kg.
The lightweight and stiff FACT 11r carbon frame delivers an exceptional combination of responsiveness, handling and comfort.
The low overall weight also helps to improve efficiency and range, making the bike feel far closer to a traditional high-end road bike than a conventional e-bike.
Range & Battery System
The bike features the integrated 320Wh internal battery, providing impressive range for long road rides and endurance adventures.
This particular Founder's Edition also comes with the 160Wh Range Extender, providing additional capacity for longer rides.
- 320Wh integrated battery
- 160Wh Range Extender included
- Up to approximately 120 miles of total range, depending on terrain, rider weight, assistance level and riding conditions
The Range Extender makes this bike ideal for long-distance riding and all-day adventures, giving the rider additional confidence when planning longer routes.
Mission Control & Turbo Connect Unit
The Specialized Mission Control App allows the rider to personalise and monitor the Turbo Creo SL system.
Through the app, riders can adjust motor settings, monitor battery usage, record rides and manage the electric assistance system.
The bike also features the Turbo Connect Unit (TCU), providing simple controls directly from the bike.
The motor system also includes an integrated power meter capable of transmitting data to compatible ANT+ devices.
Additional Upgrades
The bike has also been fitted with mode selector switches underneath the brake hoods, allowing convenient control of the electric assistance system while riding.
These controls make it easier to change assistance modes without having to move your hands away from the handlebars.

How does buyer protection work?
Our Buyer Protection policy is in place to prevent any mis-selling on the platform and ensure you get exactly what you paid for! If the bike arrives "not as described", such as there is damage that wasn't disclosed in the listing, or the specifications are wrong, then you can return it to the seller free of charge. Simply contact our support team and we will arrange this for you. To learn more, please read here.
What if the bike doesn't fit me?
Frame size is the one thing photos can't tell you, so check the fit details on this listing against your height, and use the size guide if you're between sizes.
Buyer Protection covers a bike that isn't as described; it doesn't cover a change of mind on sizing. If you're unsure, message the seller for the stack, reach and standover before you buy.
Can I get the bike serviced before it arrives?
Yes. Add MNB Verify & Service at checkout and our mechanics inspect, service and safety-check the bike before it ships: brakes, gears, tyres, drivetrain and frame.
You get a written report of what was checked and anything replaced. It's the closest thing to seeing the bike yourself.
How do I know the specs are accurate?
The technical specifications are the manufacturer's factory list for that model and year, not a record of what's fitted today. Sellers commonly change wheels, saddles and finishing kit.
What the seller has actually changed is in the Upgrades and damage sections, and every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live. If the bike arrives materially different from the listing, that's a Buyer Protection return.
