Description

Used Storck Adrenalin Carbon Mountain Bike – Fox Suspension – Rare Carbon MTB

A rare opportunity to own a Storck Adrenalin carbon mountain bike in the iconic black and white colour scheme.

This has been one of my personal bikes for the last two years and has been carefully looked after throughout my ownership. It has received regular maintenance, including professional servicing and work carried out by Dead Slow Cycles.

I’m only selling because I have moved onto a newer trail bike that better suits the type of riding I currently do, so it’s time for someone else to enjoy this unique carbon MTB.

This is a lightweight, high-quality carbon mountain bike featuring Fox suspension, Shimano components and Crank Brothers wheels. A great option for someone who appreciates unusual, well-built bikes rather than a mass-produced MTB.

The bike was fully built and regularly ridden until recently. A few personal preference components were moved across to my new bike, including some cockpit parts and pedals, with suitable replacements fitted where possible.

Specification

* Storck Adrenalin carbon frame – Large
* Fox 32 suspension forks with handlebar remote lockout
* Fox Float RP23 rear shock
* Shimano SLX crankset – 1x conversion
* Shimano Deore Shadow+ clutch rear derailleur
* Shimano 10-speed cassette
* SRAM hydraulic disc brakes
* DT Swiss rear wheel
* Crank Brothers Cobalt 3 27.5” front wheel with blue spokes
* Continental Cross King front tyre
* Continental Race King rear tyre
(Both tyres have seen very little use, covering only around the London to Brighton ride)
* Renthal MTB stem
* All Terra handlebars
* Original Storck seat clamp

Included with the sale

* Original Storck handlebars
* Original Storck stem
* Matching stem for the current handlebar setup
* Spare Crank Brothers Cobalt 650B 27.5” front wheel
* Schwalbe Magic Mary Bike Park Performance tyre – Addix compound
* Schwalbe Rocket Ron tyre – PaceStar triple compound, tubeless-ready
* Generic metal pedals currently fitted

Condition

I prefer to describe the bike accurately rather than overstate its condition.

The bike is mechanically complete and currently rideable, but there are a few areas I would recommend the next owner addresses to bring it back to its best:

* Hand grips will need fitting.
* The gear shifter clamp threads have been damaged in the past. It remains secure and functions correctly, but replacement would be recommended.
* The SRAM hydraulic brakes are fitted and currently stop the bike, but the lever feel is softer than ideal. They would benefit from further investigation, fresh pads and/or a bleed to bring them back to their best.
* As expected for an older mountain bike, there are marks and signs of use from its riding history. Please study all photos carefully.

The listing only allows a maximum of 10 photos, so please feel free to message me if you would like any additional pictures of specific areas of the bike.

I’m also happy to answer any questions before purchase.

Part Exchange

Part exchange considered for quality mountain bike parts or complete bikes of similar value.

Particularly interested in:

* 29” Boost wheelsets (Hope, DT Swiss or similar)
* 120mm air forks
* Quality internally routed dropper posts
* Other high-quality modern MTB components

Cash adjustment either way can be discussed depending on the items offered.

Please no low-value parts, unsuitable swaps or unfinished projects without a solid foundation.

Collection preferred.

Any questions, please feel free to get in touch.

We aim to deliver your new bike within 4-7 days* of placing an order. Here's the process:

  1. Once an order is placed, we contact the seller to arrange a suitable date for our delivery partner to collect the bike.
  2. The bike will then be delivered to you, typically the same day it's been collected from the seller.

Can I collect in person?

Yes! You can collect the bike from the seller yourself. We ask that you agree on a price first and follow the standard checkout process before arranging the meet-up.

This ensures that all transactions are completed securely on the MyNextBike platform.

Collection process

  1. Agree on a price with the seller
  2. Complete the purchase: You will be sent a payment link to finalise the transaction.
  3. Select "Collect in Person" at checkout
  4. Arrange the collection or viewing date
  5. Confirm whether you leave with the bike
Can I test ride the bike first?

Yes you can! It's the same process as if you are collecting the bike. We ask for buyers to agree a price first and follow the standard checkout process. This ensures that all transactions are completed securely on the MyNextBike platform, allowing us to provide buyer and seller protections.

How does buyer protection work?

Our Buyer Protection policy is in place to prevent any mis-selling on the platform and ensure you get exactly what you paid for! If the bike arrives "not as described", such as there is damage that wasn't disclosed in the listing, or the specifications are wrong, then you can return it to the seller free of charge. Simply contact our support team and we will arrange this for you. To learn more, please read here.

What if the bike doesn't fit me?

Frame size is the one thing photos can't tell you, so check the fit details on this listing against your height, and use the size guide if you're between sizes.

Buyer Protection covers a bike that isn't as described; it doesn't cover a change of mind on sizing. If you're unsure, message the seller for the stack, reach and standover before you buy.

Can I get the bike serviced before it arrives?

Yes. Add MNB Verify & Service at checkout and our mechanics inspect, service and safety-check the bike before it ships: brakes, gears, tyres, drivetrain and frame.

You get a written report of what was checked and anything replaced. It's the closest thing to seeing the bike yourself.

How do I know the specs are accurate?

The technical specifications are the manufacturer's factory list for that model and year, not a record of what's fitted today. Sellers commonly change wheels, saddles and finishing kit.

What the seller has actually changed is in the Upgrades and damage sections, and every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live. If the bike arrives materially different from the listing, that's a Buyer Protection return.
