Description
Moving to Australia and hardly used. Bought in September 2025, looks brand new as you can see by photos.
Online review below provides overview.
The Temple Cycles Step Through e-bike is a classically styled low-step bike with an electric mid-motor twist; it’s a looker too, so we wanted to get one in for review to see if there was substance with the style. It uses a Bafang M420 mid-motor and a 504Wh Samsung battery, giving it plenty of range for an urban e-bike. The step-through frame and swing-back handlebars lend themselves to a more leisurely position on the bike, which for short pootles around country lanes or quick rides to the shops, it’s ideal. You don’t need any special clothing and I found it to be a first choice ride even with several others in the stable.
At just under £3,500 it’s not the cheapest city runaround, but it is rather nice. The mid-drive Bafang motor puts out up to 80Nm of torque, and after testing it in hilly West Yorkshire andflatter, quieter areas, I can wholeheartedly say this is a bike that excels at whatever you throw at it – as long as that’s tarmac.
The only thing I felt was missing with this urban package was a rear rack. Otherwise, it’s a pretty complete package and you can tell that Temple Cycles has taken its time to produce something they’re happy with rather than just copying a mould and filling it out with as many cheap components as possible.
