Used For sale is my Trek Fuel 8 aluminium full suspension mountain bike designed for manoeuvrability and durability on serious trail riding. This model was Treks top of the range mountain bike back in the day which I have owned and professionally maintained since I purchased it. The well-established Trek brand features Shimano and other quality brand mechanical components as well as a quality motor and battery both of which are less than a year old. The electrical conversion specification as follows:- • 500W Bafang Mid Drive Electric UART Motor (Makes short work of steep hills) • 36Volt 16 Ah Haichuan Downtube Mounted Battery (Approximate range is 25 miles per charge on the highest PAS level although a lot more on the lower PAS levels) • Colour SW02 Display with 9 PAS Levels (PAS 1 = 15mph up to PAS 9 = 41mph unladen as shown in the short video) • Throttle (No pedalling required / Quick press to quickly and safely take off at Traffic Lights or to assist on steep hills where an extra boost is required) • 42 Tooth Lekkie Chainring (Narrow / Wide teeth so chain will never come off) • Brand new EMC 10 speed ebike specific chain. • Charger (Battery can either be charged on the bike or can be easily taken off and takes 6 hours to fully charge) The mechanical components as follows:- • Shimano XT rear derailleur • Shimano SLX 10 speed right shifter • Shimano F & R XT hydraulic brakes • Shimano F & R 210mm rotors • Shimano 10 speed Cassette 11 -36 • FSA headset • FOX Evolution front suspension fork 120 travel DRCV (Dual Rate Control Valve) • FOX Evolution rear suspension Float DRCV (Dual Rate Control Valve) • Panaracer Fire XC Pro tyres (Brand New) • Bontrager wheelset • Rear footstand • Upan 50mm riser handlebar • Ergonomic grips • Wellgo MTB pedals • 171/2 inch alpha platinum aluminium frame Bike is mechanically in good condition and although re-painted a couple of years ago has picked up a few minor few wear and tear scratches on paintwork that does not affect performance. The motor, battery and charger were purchased from “Green Bike Kit” who are a reliable supplier and features a robust BMS (Battery Management System) for safe charging that I can guarantee will not go on fire as I have used the same set up and supplier on my other bike and my wifes bike for many years. Reason for sale is I am getting older with a medical condition and my other hardtail ebike conversion is adequate for my needs on gravel trails etc so I don’t really need a serious full suspension MTB anymore. Although you may be able to purchase a lower priced manufacturers ebike in Halfords or Amazon it will not be as powerful as the one I am selling for what I consider a fair price as the original price I paid was £2300 for the bike alone plus £750 for the professional motor and battery conversion. Viewing and questions welcome and I will be happy for you to take a test ride if you are a competent rider. If you have never ridden an ebike before happy to give you introductory instructions to show you how the controls operate as my priority is your safety. If you live within reasonable distance, then I am happy to deliver to your home to try out as I appreciate not everyone has the equipment to transport by car.Upgrades:
