About this bike

Seller Description:

For sale is my 2019 Nukeproof mega 290 29inch wheel and a large frame. I have owned this bike since new with receipts as proof, the bike has been locked up for the past 2 years and hadn't been used since its last service and since it has had upgrade front and rear brakes. The bike is in really good condition with a few chips and marks on the frame as you would expect from a MTB. Frame size is Large with 29inch wheels. The bike has been fully serviced by leisure lakes and not been ridden since. I have recently fitted it with brand new Hope Tech 3 E4 front and rear brakes with hope floating disc 183mm back and hope floating disk 203mm front. The brakes are brand new fitted and never been used and in immaculate condition. The cost of these alone was £439.38. Parts List. Fork RockShox Lyrik charger 160mm travel Rear Shock RockShox SuperDeluxe Rc3 Drivechain Sram Eagle descendant 7k Brakes Hope Tech3 E4 in Blue with 203mm front and 183mm back. Wheels Mavic deemax elite 29" boost Tyres Michelin Wild Enduro 29 x2.4" Stem Nukeproof Horizon SL 50m Bars Nukeproof Horizon 800mm. Saddle Nukeproof Horizon SL, saddle has 2 rips in it. Headset nukeproof warhead Seatpost Rockshox reverb stealth 125mm.

I have upgraded both front and rear brakes and rotas. I have upgraded them to Hope Tech 3 E4 front and rear brakes with hope floating disc 183mm back and hope floating disk 203mm front.

How long does delivery take, and how much does shipping cost?

We aim to deliver your new bike within 2-4 days* of placing an order. Here’s the process:

  1. Once an order is placed, we contact the seller to arrange a suitable date for our delivery partner to collect the bike. 
  2. The bike will then be delivered to you, typically the same day it’s been collected from the seller. 
  3. You’re ready to ride! Our couriers collect and deliver the bikes without the need for them to be disassembled.

Shipping costs are fixed at £69 no matter where you or the seller are living in the U.K.

*Please note that delivery times may be longer if the seller is not at home for the couriers to collect the bike within the 2-4 day period.

Can I collect in person?

Yes! You can collect the bike from the seller yourself. We will reveal the exact location of the seller after you've completed checkout.

Can I test ride the bike first?

If you would like to test ride the bike, then please contact us and we will arrange this with the seller. Here’s the process:

  1. We will contact the seller to confirm they’re happy to proceed with this and if so, will arrange a suitable date for the test ride.
  2. We ask you to agree to a price first and complete the checkout process as normal before your “test ride”. 
  3. At checkout please select “collect in person” and enter your payment details. 
  4. Your payment will be authorised but not captured until you’ve confirmed you’ve left with the bike. If you don’t leave with the bike, your payment will not be captured.

How does buyer protection work?

Our Buyer Protection policy is in place to prevent any mis-selling on the platform and ensure you get exactly what you paid for! If the bike arrives “not as described”, such as there is damage that wasn’t disclosed in the listing, or the specifications are wrong, then you can return it to the seller free of charge.
