Used Bought new in 2022, this is officially a 2021 model year. It has been ridden regularly around town, but has only done just over 300 miles since new and is well looked after and maintained. Gudereit is a high quality German brand, and although not well known in the UK it was bought from a local dealer and all the components are known brands which can be readily maintained and replaced by any bike shop. This bike is a high specification pedal assist e-Bike, and is fully legal to use in the UK and EU. It has an aluminium step-through frame (unisex) and is perfect for town use or for well surfaced cycle trails. The electric assist really minimises the hills and can be adjusted on the move through a range of assist levels: Eco, Tour, Sport, and Turbo. The motor is torque sensing, meaning that as you pedal it measures the pressure you are putting through the pedals and provides the appropriate amount of assistance. This gives is a more natural feel than some hub motor systems. It is equipped for practicality and comfort with integrated front and rear lights, full mudguards and chain guard to keep you dry and clean, a rear pannier rack for shopping or touring panniers, rear mounted kick stand, a shock absorbing seat post topped with a well padded comfortable saddle, suspension forks, adjustable handlebar stem with swept back handlebar design for an upright position, powerful hydraulic rim brakes, hub gears for simple shifting and low maintenance, and of course a powerful electric assist motor and battery system from the highly regarded manufacturer Bosch. There is also a convenient integrated AXA rear wheel lock. This can be paired with an AXA plug in chain (not included) for added security. Note these are not Sold Secure rated, so it’s advisable to also use a suitable rated lock. The bike has just had a motor system health check and software update by a Bosch service centre showing it to be in good condition - this will be provided with the purchase. We have also performed a full mechanical service - nothing needed to be replaced apart from the grease in the headset bearing. Wear on the chain was measured, and it has less than 0.5% wear. The paintwork is in good condition: The frame has a couple of minor scratches (hardly visible) and a chip on a rear dropout near one of the wheel nuts.
