About this bike

Seller Description:

Scott Solace 10 Disc Frame size: M/54 Top of the range for Scott endurance bike, the Solace model at the time retailed for £2800 around 2017. Has been a great entry into road cycling since I bought it. I was beginning to upgrade parts but knee injury means I am re-evaluating things hence sale. Carbon frame and fork. Stock alloy wheels, which if changed to carbon rims would take the bike up a notch. Current it has Victoria Corsa Graphene 28mm tires on. Only ridden a few hundred miles on them. Full Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc set up. I have changed the cassette and chain set since purchased. Changed from the stock 50/34 to 52/36. If I can find the 50/34 I'll throw that in. Been serviced regularly and has recently applied new bar tape. The bike is shot with a new Prologo (this will be sold separately) it will be swapped out for the stock Scott saddle, which was actually very comfortable. I can include the Look Keo 2 MAX pedals for the right offer. There is some rub on the crank arm but commensurate with use. Overall frame the bike is in good condition with few if any marks. Will travel for a realistic distance or meet halfway for example.

Upgrades:

The chainset was upgraded from the compact 50/34 to a 52/36

How long does delivery take, and how much does shipping cost?

We aim to deliver your new bike within 2-4 days* of placing an order. Here’s the process:

  1. Once an order is placed, we contact the seller to arrange a suitable date for our delivery partner to collect the bike. 
  2. The bike will then be delivered to you, typically the same day it’s been collected from the seller. 
  3. You’re ready to ride! Our couriers collect and deliver the bikes without the need for them to be disassembled.

Shipping costs are fixed at £69 no matter where you or the seller are living in the U.K.

*Please note that delivery times may be longer if the seller is not at home for the couriers to collect the bike within the 2-4 day period.

Can I collect in person?

Yes! You can collect the bike from the seller yourself. We will reveal the exact location of the seller after you've completed checkout.

Can I test ride the bike first?

If you would like to test ride the bike, then please contact us and we will arrange this with the seller. Here’s the process:

  1. We will contact the seller to confirm they’re happy to proceed with this and if so, will arrange a suitable date for the test ride.
  2. We ask you to agree to a price first and complete the checkout process as normal before your “test ride”. 
  3. At checkout please select “collect in person” and enter your payment details. 
  4. Your payment will be authorised but not captured until you’ve confirmed you’ve left with the bike. If you don’t leave with the bike, your payment will not be captured.

How does buyer protection work?

If the bike arrives “not as described”, such as there is damage that wasn’t disclosed in the listing, or the specifications are wrong, then you can return it to the seller free of charge.
